Pilgrim Fellowship Plans Ham Supper and Camp Fund
Twelve members met for Westfield Pilgrim Fellowship with Ronald Horsley leading the lesson and Sue Mansfield giving devotions. They organized a 6:00 p.m. Sunday ham supper on June 14 to raise funds for the fellowship camp at Pilgrim Heights near Montour, July 27 to August 1, with adult admission at 1.25 dollars. The Lowest 4-H club met April 9 1964 at Sunny side school with 14 members. Florence Banks led the pledge to the American and 4-H flags before Bruce Knapp demonstrated fitting and showing of dairy beef sheep and swine. Dayle Boetger discussed care and management of dairy calves and heifers. Reporter Tom Nason chaired May 14 1964 meeting at Sunny side with 16 members. a tour was planned for June 27 1964 from Don Boetger’s place at 12:30 and meetings set to start at 8:00. Craige Boetger spoke on Plant Growth and Paul Vandershaff demonstrated how plants take up water and minerals.
