Mrs Ella Lewison to be Honored on 90th Birthday

Alcester woman Mrs Ella Lewison will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house at Peace Lutheran church Alcester from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday June 13. Gay 90s poster contest winners announced

The Akron Commercial club sponsored a Gay 90s Bicentennial poster contest won by Janelle Heeren for first prize of 5 dollars, Laurie Dennison second with 3 dollars, and Debbie Rollins third with 2 dollars. Several students participated under Phil Bradbury, art instructor, with posters placed in local businesses. A weekend visit and Memorial weekend gatherings drew families from Addison Illinois and Omaha Nebraska to Akron.
