Poisoned oats for ground squirrels offered locally
Poisoned oats for exterminating ground squirrels are available in small quantities from the Farm Bureau office. One pound packages will be mailed to applicants who follow directions as long as supply lasts. Prepared by H R Wells of the USDA. If demand exists a larger batch will be sold at cost, likely 15 to 20 cents per pound. Ground squirrels are a pest but controllable with persistent effort.
