Special correspondence from Milnerville notes Mrs. R M McWhorter and daughter Ruth Ann of New York City visiting Sunnyside with Harold Cooper. Their travels include Texas for the Centennial in Dallas and Kansas City before returning west. Local families, threshing, fires, illnesses, and a dust storm frame a week of social visits and farm activity across Milnerville and surrounding farms.

Communion services are planned for 11 oclock next Sunday with Sunday school at 10. The Ladies Aid meets July 29 at Luther Hall hosted by Mrs Albert Anderson. Union Creek picnic is set for August 6 on church grounds. Local residents traveled to Lawton Iowa to visit Mrs Mabel Johnson and others hosted and celebrated milestones including a birthday and a church wedding at three in the afternoon conducted by Rev D J Edward.
At the Lutheran parsonage in Alces ter the couple wed and afterward gathered at the bride’s home. The newlyweds departed by auto for a brief Black Hills trip and plan to reside in Chicago where Mr. Tunnell will be employed. Mr and Mrs Arthur Wilcox hosted dinner for Willard Johnson Jim Miller and families Bessie Wilcox Floyd Nettie Wilcox and Alice Card Teekin Anderson spent a week at the Wm Ericson home.
