Obituary for Donald Campbell of Akron at 53
Donald Campbell, 53, of Akron, died June 29 at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held July 1 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Stanley R. Stone presiding. Burial followed at St. Joseph cemetery. Survivors include his widow, a son in Phoenix, a daughter in Ireton, three grandchildren, two brothers Harold and Virgil, three sisters, and other relatives.

Drug Seminar At Storm Lake July 17 20 Storm Lake seminar on drug education to train communities
The Iowa Department of Public Instruction in cooperation with the Iowa State Drug Abuse Authority and the Iowa Crime Commission will sponsor a four day seminar in Storm Lake July 17 to 20. It will feature Dr. William Van Meter of Iowa State University and John Coleman from the Attorney General's office with DPI staff. Community teams including students teachers and law enforcement or other representatives are invited. Previous seminars in Ackley and Glenwood were praised by participants. Registrations are being accepted and information is available from local schools or the county sheriff. Social Security News: Medicare paid about 74 billion in benefits in fiscal 1971 with hospital and medical insurance covering millions of elderly citizens. Call the Sioux City Social Security Office for details.

Survivors include his wife a daughter Carol Stuart and a son Don both of Minneapolis four grandchildren and four sisters from Sioux Falls and Akron.
