Union Creek Church to Hold Communion Services Sunday

Union Creek Lutheran church will host Communion services Sunday evening at 8. The Junior Mission Band meets Friday afternoon July 12 at Luther Hall. Ladies' Aid plans a gathering at Miss Hannah Sellberg’s home on Wednesday July 10. Various local visits and dinners are noted, with many residents hosting and traveling between Beresford Sioux City Akron and Omaha for social events and family visits.

The Sommervolds and Lewison families joined Art Lewison’s birthday celebration Friday. Walter and Donald Heyls visited Henry Heyl’s. Leo Burke and wife returned to Sioux City after two weeks with the Heyls. Items too late for last week’s issue mention Frank Johnson and Willard Mildred Johnson with a friend.
