Weekend visitors include Mr and Mrs Wayne Waterman at the Wm Ericson home. Mrs Wm Huebner is now up and around after illness. Visitors from Sioux City include Mr and Mrs E Westin at the Walford Forslund home. Clifford Johnson and family Will Olson and family Ed Olson and family and Mr and Mrs John Frisk and Alvin picnicked at Esther Hultgren's Sunday. Mr and Mrs E A Hultgren and Kenneth, Russell and Hart were dinner guests at Wesley Heeren's. Lloyd Fickbohm visited Sioux City Monday. Mr and Mrs Milton Ericson and
Saturday evening guests reported at the Orville Jurgenson residence include sons of the household. Weekend visits featured Miriam Ericson with Gust Granquist and D. C. Vick in Akron. Ki A Hultgren visited Forslund, and Sunday visits occurred at Wi. Grandpa McMurray’s health is noted as poor. Alve Ericson and Mrs. Ericson visited Sioux City. Walford Forslund visited Hawarden with Mrs. Forslund’s mother.
The Milnerville F. L. G. club met Saturday January 9 with the Radziks. New officers were elected: President Scharmel Sturtevant, vice president Kathleen Robinson, secretary June Faber, treasurer Lucille Maloney. Loretta Radzik named news reporter and Mrs. T. A. Eugene Hilenbecker 86 longtime Le Mars resident and former business man died at home after a brief illness of heart trouble. A Luxemburg native who came to America at 21, he farmed land in Marion and later ran saloon and wholesale liquor businesses in preprohibition days. Survived by wife and son John of Le Mars.
On January 7 1937 the District Court of Plymouth County Iowa appointed William Manning as Administrator of the Estate of Mary A Manning deceased. Creditors must pay the estate and present claims legally authenticated to the court for allowance. Attorney for the estate is John F Stecker with notices published January 14 21 and 28 1937.
