Birds provide natural pest control, and European practices show protected hawks and owls are raised and released to balance forests and game. Destruction of these birds in Iowa could harm forest health and wildlife.

Campaign to save horses from bot infestation across ten states

Livestock health authorities announced a winter drive in ten states to save over a million horses from bot and worm infestation. Farmers veterinarians and livestock officials collaborate. over 2,000,000 work animals have been treated in two years and aims exceed 3,000,000.
