Mrs. Mother Shearer of Sioux City died last Friday. Funeral at Christy funeral home in Morningside Monday at 1 30 PM. Sympathy extended to bereaved. Sunday guests Delbert Maynard's family from Sioux City. Mrs Harley Small visited from Sioux City with news of sister Mrs John Witte injured in Michigan. Westfield church and Akron Methodist youths roller-skated at Alcester rink last Saturday. PTA and club meetings canceled due to severe cold. Richard and Vicki Lilly visited grandmother Jennie Lilly. Mary Lilly stayed overnight. Delbert Maynard ill. Terry Morehead had a surprise birthday party with buffet dinner and games. Attendees listed include Jeannie Brown, Wanda Brown, Bobbet Listen, Mary Lou Beech, Tom Beech, Robert Fymbo, Dennis Trish, George Taylor, Bruce Knapp, Keith Swanson, James Leuenhagen. Terry received many gifts. Westfield School featured antique musical instrument exhibition by J C Parkinson of LeMars, enjoyed by all.
