Union Creek News reports the death of Mrs. D J Edwards's father with Rev Edward and Miriam traveling to Chicago for the funeral last Friday. Local residents share visits and social gatherings this week including Eddie Anderson's surprise at his home and several families visiting relatives.
Violet Kallsen visited Irene Miller on Wednesday. Families from around here attended Bennie Fischer's sale. Many locals hosted visitors at various homes across Akron Chatsworth and LeMars areas, with several gatherings noting birthdays and community events.
Despite bad roads, weather, and influenza, four students Roger Ericson Lowell Hosch ler Wayne Stoutenburg and Ruth Rae Stoutenburg maintain perfect attendance. March moves will leave enrollment at twenty four and Rose Bennett leaves for Garland district. The project for flood sufferers continues.
