Funeral services held for Harry Postlewait 93
Funeral services were Wednesday December 24 for Harry Postlewait age 93 at Schroeder Funeral Home with Rev Michael Connor officiating. He died December 22 at Akron hospital after a long illness. Burial was at Concord Nebraska with casket bearers Emmett Banks Everrett Hank James Hey Charles A Johnson Robert Anderson Elmer Schutte. He was born May 23 1876 in Wakefield Nebraska. He married Minnie Drain March 27 1901 at Laurel Nebraska. He managed Farmers Union store and Crowell Grain Co in Concord before moving to Westfield in 1933 where he farmed until retirement in 1946. Survivors include his widow a son Roy of Westfield two daughters Mrs Fred Anderson of Ponca Nebr and Mrs Helen Toennis of Astoria Oregon 11 grandchildren several great grandchildren and one sister Mrs Cora Orser of Coos Bay Oregon.
