Town and Country Champs Club Meeting Notes 1975

The Town and Country Champs 4-H club met at Norman Lias residence on November 26, 1975 with one leader and 12 members present. They discussed 4-H Awards Night from November 15, 1975 and approved enrollment and re enrollment cards. Randy Kroksh was welcomed as a new member. Richard Oetken named chairman of the Plymouth county Farm Bureau environmental resources committee. ISU diploma winner Joan Hebeler Tindall noted

Iowa State University awarded diplomas to 702 students at fall quarter commencement on November 22. Joan Hebeler Tindall of Akron earned a bachelor of science in horticulture with distinction and a GPA of at least 3.5. President W. Robert Parks presided as 105 bachelor of arts, 399 bachelor of science, 130 master, and 66 doctorates were conferred, plus two two year technical agriculture certificates. Graduation closed the fall term as students began a brief break with classes resuming December 2.
