The Westfield Consolidated School schedules the 1985-66 term to begin Monday August 29 with full registration for all students. Buses will run morning routes and return students home before noon. full day classes start August 30. Faculty listed includes Supt Robert J. Hofstad Family Holds Annual Reunion at Elk Point Auditorium
The Hofstad family reunion met Sunday August 14 at Elk Point auditorium with about 90 attendees from Iowa South Dakota and Minnesota. Oldest member Mrs Minnie Kerr of Akron and youngest Wesley James Lidem five months old. Officers elected included Olive Clementson president Arlo Hofstad vice president Enoch Hofstad secretary Hazell Rowell treasurer and Tilton Hofstad refreshment chair. After a bountiful dinner a business meeting was held and plans made to meet again next year.

Members are urged to attend the Bethesda Homes Fall Festival at Beresford with sermon by Rev Selmet Heeh of East Side Lutheran Sioux Falls at 11:00 am. Coffee served. Festival continues at 2:00 pm with speakers Dr Selmer Berge and Dr M A Dehlen. Part of the service rebroadcast on WNAX at 6:00 pm.
