The She Register Tribune announces Ray A. Smith & Son as publishers. The paper is issued every Thursday in Akron Plymouth County Iowa and entered as second class mail matter on September 26, 1901.
Special correspondence notes a September 1 meeting cancellation. The bulletin lists residents visiting, trips, births, health updates, and social calls among families in Akron, Sioux City, Moville, Bronson, and nearby areas. A town council order closes the old dumping ground north of the Akron Feed Mills and prohibits further dumping there.
Sunday services list church school at 10:00 a m and church service at 11:00 a m. Plan to attend as Rev. Joseph Steele of Sioux City conducts the service.
The Lake View Extension Club will not meet the first Friday in September and asks members to await a rescheduled date. The club notes an Antique booth at Elk Point Achievement Day on September 1 and instructs members to bring at least three antiques to Mrs. Clarence Hummel’s home the Sunday before, clearly labeled with ages.
