Doug Pringle and Aggie cash in on Midweek Fiction success by buying Spur Lake camp and turning part of it into a studio for his illustration work. Guests arrive, bores visit, and Aggie endures the growing bustle as the couple chase a life of easier times and more possessions.
A household dispute over laundry starches grows as shirts arrive starched despite repeated warnings. The husband laments rigid collars and cuffs while the wife jokes about the laundry’s stubbornness and its reply of OK No starch. The comic exchange ends with a resigned chuckle.
A comic piece spans a mock quest to uncover a starch conspiracy in laundries and shifts to satire on education via televised lectures. It features characters debating no starch policies, then pivots to Ira Hirschmann and Hunter College pioneering video education with synchronized history lectures and a prize.

Helen Hayes returns to radio Electric Theatre and plans Broadway if possible. Jamie Welsh, last of actor family, appears in The Corpus Green.
Aggie and Doug plan a small camp by Spur Lake after a friend group visits. Mrs Pringle shows enthusiasm as the idea grows. The scene hints at a cozy retreat with a playful tone and budding anticipation among characters.
In a lively scene at Doug's workshop Aggie notes Doug is away on business while plans unfold. The Hollands are softened by the plan as they head to a noisy district. The Brants will arrive tomorrow and excitement grows as Doug enthuses about the place.
