Funeral Rites Held for Mrs Edward Larson at Brule Creek
Funeral services for Mrs Helene Marie Larson aged 96 were conducted Saturday at Brule Creek Lutheran Church with Rev J Rye presiding. Burial followed in the church cemetery under Schroeder Funeral Home direction. Survivors include four sons, two daughters, six grandchildren and one sister. A note to New Eyes For The Needy in New Jersey highlighted how donated glasses and jewelry fund aid to provide prescription glasses and even artificial eyes across hospitals and communities.

Private Thomas Edward Nason son of Mr and Mrs Alfred Nason of Westfield Iowa assigned to Company D 809th Engineer Battalion US Army Thailand. Commanded by Brigadier General David E Ott USARSUPTHAI it supports U S Air Force in Thailand building roads improving land communications port at Sattahip and storage areas nationwide.
