Pioneer woman laid to rest in Logan Park cemetery

The obituary recalls Mrs. Weber, a longtime resident, who died after years of poor health. Her oldest son Will died in 1931 and another child died in infancy. Surviving are John F Otto L and Thomas F, all residents. A fall last spring hastened her passing. Pallbearers were local older men, and she is remembered for her community good works.

Wedding and Community News From Craig Bowery Area

A large crowd attended the wedding dance of Mr and Mrs Jack Borchers at the Craig bowery last Friday evening. Many neighbors visited, and Sunday afternoon gatherings and visits occurred at several homes. Various locals and visitors from nearby towns attended church picnics, family visits, and events including trips to Chicago for the World’s Fair, with multiple families spending weekends with relatives and friends around Craig.
