Warrant Officer Candidate Renken Completes Helicopter Course

Warrant Officer Candidate Robert J. Renken, 25, son of Mr and Mrs Herman B Renken of Akron Iowa, completed a 16 week Army Primary Helicopter School course at Ft Wolters Texas on July 3 He learned to fly Army helicopters for tactical maneuvers and will begin advanced training at Hunter Army Airfield Georgia Upon completion he may be appointed a warrant officer Renken entered the Army in January 1960 and has basic training at Ft Hood Texas His wife Helmtraud resides at 805 N Austin Sioux City Iowa.
