Akron Iowa council met July 24 1962 to adopt the budget after hearing taxpayers none spoke. Verle Barwick Joseph Tratzig and Roy Nielsen voted aye while Mayor Clarence Hummel and others presided. Bills approved include Akron Register Tribune publication and various local suppliers.
