Physicians report the President is out of danger with improvement steady and rapid. The wound is dressing, nourishment aids recovery, and movement to Washington is possible but risky before October 15.
Pan American Exposition Director General Buchanan urges Sept 21 as a day of special thanksgiving and jubilee over President McKinley’s escape. Provisions place The Stadium as the crowd center with schoolchildren and a church chorus in the Temple of Music, plus a pageant and an evening display of works.
Buffalo on September 11 reports Mr Milburn leaving his house at 2 20 pm smoking a cigar and greeting reporters. He says the President is resting well with no new developments in the case.

At six a.m. the president’s physicians report a comfortable night with pulse 120 temperature 100.2 and respiration 26. The bulletin is signed by P. M. Rixey and Geo B Cortelyou as secretary to the president.
Columbus Ohio September 11 John F Jones a Democratic council member has prepared a resolution to be introduced at the next meeting directing Director of Safety Philbrick to identify and break up all anarchist meetings in the city henceforth.
In Buffalo on September 11 a second minor operation was performed on President McKinley to remove a fragment of enamel carried by the bullet. Surgeons reported the wound irritation subsiding and nourishment by beef juice hourly as the general condition improves. The procedure lasted briefly due to an earlier bandage-material delay, with six doctors present and wartime officials in attendance.
Police hunt Edward Wolesynoki of Cleveland as the man alleged to have accompanied Czolgosy to Buffalo where President McKinley was shot. Wolesynoki, a friend of the assassin, vanished from Cleveland four weeks earlier and was suspected to have headed to Chicago. A man matching his description was reported seen in Buffalo around the president’s shooting.

London dispatch reports eight bodies recovered from the Llanbradach mine at Gwerphilly Wa after an explosion yesterday. Several workers were rescued with serious injuries and conditions described as critical.
In Cleveland on Sept 11 a Grand Army of the Republic parade drew about 40 000 veterans, the largest in a decade. The event featured dignitaries, holiday closures, and two of the oldest war veterans 108 year old John H Reed and 102 year old Dennis Makin.

London dispatch reports a decisive British victory under General Methuen in the Great Maries Valley. Methuen's forces attacked Van Londer and De la Rey from a strong position on September 7 and 8, driving them from the area. Boers left 18 dead, 41 prisoners, with wages and stock taken.
In Barberton on Sept 11 Michael Zolden brother of Leon Czolgosz was questioned by Marshal Ferguson about ties to the McKinley assassination plot. He is believed innocent, has worked at Columbia Chemical and Diamond Match, and distance from anarchist circles. He says he would hang Leon if he acted, and claims he attended socialist meetings long ago but rejects anarchism and socialism.
New York reported that Michael Vi, a boy of telest years, had his spleen removed at Harlow hospital after a wagon accident. Doctors successfully removed the torn organ and stitched the wound, noting the rare operation has few prior successful cases. The patient remains in recovery.
