Fireworks at Palace drug store burn man severely
Mr. Frank Selzer of John Lamparter Co. suffered severe facial burns from a nitric acid and mercuric reaction when a street faker bought acid, mixed with mena cory, and exploded it in the Palace drug store on South Howard street. He washed the acid from his face, and doctors expect healing though the burns are painful. the stranger fled after the blast.

Baby boy drowns after wandering from Barberton home
Special correspondence from Barberton Ohio reports four year old Leyl Wilson Jr. wandered from his home near the canal Saturday morning and drowned. Lee Knapp found the boy around 9 am. The incident remains a mystery with the police noting the river nearby and a prior hour in water. The weather forecast adds showers tonight.
