Lautenberg pushes smoking ban on short airline flights
Sen Frank Lautenberg D N J says he will ask the Senate transportation appropriations subcommittee to approve a law prohibiting smoking on flights of two hours or less. The panel planned to finish work today with full Senate consideration set for Thursday. The proposal would cover about 80 percent of domestic flights for three years.
