Meatballs 2 sequel review dulls the first film
A brisk critique notes Meatballs 2 repeats Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs tropes but lacks the original’s novelty. Flint confronts a food weather machine run by Chester V, while Sam, Manny, Brent and Earl navigate a chaotic Swallow Falls. The film’s humor and ideas pale beside the 2009 hit, leaving a cynical impression.
