GAFFNEY AP Earl Owensby plans a Cherokee County film about South Carolina’s legendary Lizard Man. The comedy features an eight foot red eyed lizard creature, distinct from a monster movie, with an expensive script in development and a mechanical prop in progress. Owensby owns the former Duke Power Cherokee Nuclear Plant, bought in 1985.
