Aiken County Probate Judge Sue H Roe earned over 67000 in two years from operating a private wedding chapel across from her office in the Aiken County Judicial Center. Deputy Probate Judge Angela E Little earned over 93000 in the same period from marriage services and real estate commissions. The figures came from the State Courts Administration under FOIA.

ATC charts plan to boost funds and build high tech facilities

ATC outlines a strategic plan to expand academic offerings and form local partnerships to meet future high tech job needs. President Dr. Kathleen A. Noble notes current state funding covers only 71 cents of every dollar raised. The plan calls for a $10 million investment over three to five years to construct a Health and Sciences Building and an Information Technology Training Center. Dr. Rita Melton has been hired.
