Nader Reveals Call To Release Government Product Tests

Washington AP Ralph Nader releases a 1968 task force report urging disclosure of government test data on consumer products. The study, dated December 9 1968 and labeled Administratively Confidential, alleges suppression by Johnson and Nixon administrations. It cites agencies like GSA DoD NBS VA and HEW and argues broader nonbrand data could aid consumers and curb deceptive advertising.
