Tropical Storm Inga drifts northwest off Atlantic
Tropical Storm Inga 830 miles east of Puerto Rico continues a slow northwest drift with top winds of 45 mph. It is expected to remain on an easterly course for now and move away from the Leeward Islands. The storm formed Sunday and was nearly stationary overnight.

Four Die in Greenwood Crash Including Army Sgt Land

Aiken Mental Health Center A Leader In Rehabilitation
Dr. Peggy L. Shealy told Rotarians that Aiken County Mental Health Center leads in PREP to reduce state hospital beds by about 18 percent since July 1968. The project trains staff to help patients reenter communities, with temporary shelter for those lacking homes. The center is unique in the state for this research initiative begun July 1, 1968 under a $35,000 annual federal grant.
