AP tests in 2015 show 53 percent of 846 students qualifying for college credit, up from 50.8 percent in 2014. SAT results average 1429 district wide, slightly above the state mean of 1428. South Aiken High and Aiken High exceed state AP credit rate. South Aiken administered 475 exams at 68 percent, Aiken High 263 exams at 60 percent.
