Bond Denied For Man Accused Of Teen Abduction

NC girl killed in SC charity bike ride
Ninth grade student Rachel Giblin, 15, from Charlotte died after a tandem bike accident on U.S. 15 401 north of Society Hill South Carolina. Her brother and mother were injured as a pickup driven by Rudy Robinson of Harville, SC struck the riders during a MS Society Breakaway to the Beach event. Investigators planned to decide on charges. Anne Marie McDermott noted it was the first fatality in 21 years of the bike tour.

Anderson County investigators found Tafari Omari Myers 21 of Stone Mountain in a wooded area near Townville after a man who claimed to witness four shootings in Atlanta led them to the site.
