Family pleads for return of missing Dixie the beagle
Eleven year old Ashley Rice and her sister Abigail appeal to a man who took their dog Dixie a tri colored beagle with a red harness. The family searched after the dog slipped from a Gatewood yard and was found by a store clerk who believed the dog belonged to the man next door. Grandmother Rita Yates suspects the thief mistook Dixie for a hunting dog or a possible litter. Yard mate Star misses Dixie and searches the fence line. Anyone who has seen Dixie should call 643 7516.
