L L Willis says the district is starting site preparation after signing a contract with S and P Grading in Aiken. Work covers soil compaction, road and parking hard surfaces, and water and sewer systems. Plans for the buildings will go before the Board of Education for bids and must be approved by the state Department of Education. The building pact is due in 45 days, with other site work in 150 days, per Dr Beecher Morton.
