Graniteville Swint Division unveils a modern upgrade with robotics and comput ers on new machinery. Plant manager D T Atkinson says the 355 staff produce higher quality fabric more efficiently, a key factor in meeting customer quality demands and sustaining company viability. The 301,398 square foot mill began modernization in 1963 as part of a $57 million program, with last phase starting March 31.
