Health ends era as Midland Valley coach Jean Johnson steps down
Jean Johnson, Midland Valley High School's only women’s basketball coach in seven years, leaves coaching to focus on health. She will oversee the girls junior varsity, tennis, and track teams, while continuing waterfront duties at Gregg Park in winter and officiating games. Johnson recalls transforming a 11 win period into success and reflects on the demanding nature of varsity basketball.
