Labor Day road deaths toll climbs in South Carolina
The Highway Patrol reports at least six fatalities during the Labor Day weekend across South Carolina. Victims include Robert Chandler Sr of Easley in Greenville County, Uma Cherukuri and Raman Raghu of Marietta Georgia in Dillon County, Samuel Burnett of Reidville on State Highway 414, Jeffery Lewis of Chesnee on Hanging Rock Road, and Mark Edwards of Jefferson on Sycamore Road in Chesterfield County. The AP notes a dozen deaths statewide from 6 pm Friday to midnight Monday.
