Man Connected to Circle K Robbery Arrested
Jeremy Jacob Grey 20 of Aiken was arrested by Aiken County deputies for armed robbery and attempted armed robbery at a Circle K on Wagener Road August 28. Grey, who contacted the sheriff’s office to meet at a Bath store, surrendered after an arrest warrant was issued following tip information. He allegedly demanded money from clerks while covering his face and told a clerk he needed money for his kid.

Grass cutting on state roads delayed in Aiken County
Aiken County residents will see grass on state maintained roads cut by October after a miscommunication delayed mowing. SCDOT official Jeff Terry said the mowing contractor will clear tall grass statewide, with Sen. Tom Young planning to follow up in February to ensure no repeat delays.
