Quilts Sought for Aiken County Museum Exhibit
The Aiken County Historical Museum seeks quilts and quilted garments for its Quilt Show scheduled Oct 16 to 31. Eligible pieces should be preshown but need not be mint, with care to avoid washing. Edna Waller Named Hitchcock Artist Of The Month
Edna Waller is the Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center’s artist of the month for September. The open exhibit runs through Sept 26 at the center at 721 Richland Ave. W in Aiken, with hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Waller, who studied art in Illinois, now lives in Aiken and has works in regional collections. She is a former president of the Aiken Artist Guild.
