Man faces attempted murder charge in Pine Street shooting
Wagener man Frank Lee Walker, 31, was charged Thursday with attempted murder possession of a weapon during violent crime and probation violation after a January 12 shooting at 18 Pine Street left a man hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds. He also faced two bench warrants for carrying a pistol and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Police reported a victim with wounds to arm abdomen and foot, with blood on porch and kitchen floor. The victim was taken to a area hospital in stable condition and Walker remained in custody.

Elgin teen charged in Circle K Robbery case
Timothy Nathaniel Teep McRae, 17, was charged with armed robbery possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of stolen goods after being moved from Richland County to Aiken County. The incident at Circle K Edgefield Highway occurred around 2 45 am on June 14 with two other suspects. Police seek help identifying the black male and third suspect as Butler and an unnamed accomplice.
