Know your onions kitchen storage tips

Store onions in a cool dry ventilated place and not in the refrigerator. Do not keep whole onions in plastic bags as lack of air reduces storage life. Chopped onions last up to seven days in a sealed container in the fridge. One medium onion yields about one cup chopped.
