Town Approves Curfew and Loitering Ban in Timminsville

TIMMANSVILLES AK A 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew for minors takes effect November 15. A second ordinance bans loitering on public property. Councilwoman Linda Hearon cites resident complaints about youths gathering under streetlights as a triggering factor. Penalties start with a courtesy summons, rise to $100 on second offense, and reach up to $500 and 30 days in jail for third and subsequent offenses.

South Carolina Wins $3 Million Food Stamp Bonus
