Aiken County Board Keeps Five Year Plan In Check
The Aiken County Board of Education states its five year facility plan is not in deficit though funding is down. Chairman Robert H. Slay warns reductions may occur but the plan will not operate in the red. The update realigns expenditures cutting routine maintenance and major maintenance, with first two years funded and third year unclear. The board also advances district reports and grants aimed at boosting black student college readiness.
