Bands make strong showing at state meets in Aiken County
Four Aiken County high school bands delivered solid showings at the state championships. Silver Bluff won 2005 title defense with 4th in AA at Batesburg-Leesville, North Augusta placed 4th in AAA at Clinton, Midland Valley took 7th, Wagener-Salley finished 8th in Class A. Silver Spirit scored 90.7, narrowly behind Blue Ridge.
