Lee given year limit on appeal for murder case
Anthony C. Lee serving a life sentence for killing a North Augusta gas station attendant was granted one year to hire an attorney for an appeal after Judge Rodney Peeples delayed post conviction relief. Lee, 23, must return by Oct. 25 2001 to pursue counsel as the state warned of a one year filing limit.
