Cochran Trial May Conclude in Plains Case

Mother Subdues Bus Hijacker on Atlanta Bus
Mattie Bussey a 41 year old mother of six subdued a hijacker who seized a city bus and threatened to ignite gasoline. She pinned the man’s arms and turned him over to police at the Georgia Capitol after he demanded a meeting with Gov. George Busbee and Mayor Maynard Jackson. The bus was driven by W. J. Patrick and many lives were at risk on board.
