Appeals court rules NRA sticker not enough for search
A three judge panel of the sixth US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Dallas area police lacked probable cause to search Jeffrey L. Estep’s pickup after an NRA sticker and camo gear were seen. Officers found a pistol in a case. Estep, stopped for speeding, sued Garland, Texas officers over the 1988 incident.
