Aiken Jaycees Fair Adds Wide Food Offerings Attracts Crowds
Vendors line the fairgrounds offering shrimp baskets clam strips fried chicken onion rings and fries along with hot dogs corn dogs beef burgers and gumbo. Italian sausage sandwiches oysters and funnel cakes with toppings draw attendees including Paul Faraci from Aiken. A trailer store and DAV Chapter 43 booths supply snacks and crafts as weather dictates sales. James Blake runs a mobile mini market catering to fairgoers and workers while NASCAR links color the event.
