After two years of work, Aiken enters the final phase of its Strategic Planning Process. The 12 committees presented reports to the Steering Committee and four to five theme areas will be developed to guide strategies and work plans for the city’s future through 2010.

SRS Cleanup Shortfall Restored to Full 1994 Budget
U.S. Rep. Butler Derrick says the Department of Energy will fully fund the Savannah River Site 1994 environmental restoration budget at 72.4 million dollars. Officer Rick Brown responded to a call at about 9 30 am as a teacher reported a student acting suspiciously.
