Four found shot to death on highway in Port St. Lucie
Florida investigators found a man, a woman, and two young children shot on the side of Florida's Turnpike near Port St. Lucie between 1:30 and 3:00 am. Officials described a defensive embrace by the woman as she protected the youngsters, with a dark colored Jeep possibly tied to the crime. The incident occurred several miles from the nearest rest area. Names were withheld pending relatives' notification.
