Armed Men Hold Up Trenton Bank
Two armed men robbed the Bank of Trenton and abducted vice president H B Kemp but released him unharmed on Highway 19 north of Eureka. The robbers, one about 20 and the other in his 30s, escaped in a grey 1977 Oldsmobile after forcing Kemp to open the safe. Kemp was later picked up by a Coca Cola driver. No injuries were reported and authorities including FBI and South Carolina Highway Patrol searched the area where the car was found.
