Best Friend Express to Restructure Aiken County Bus Routes
The Best Friend Express will change routes and times starting Friday. The North Augusta and Midland Valley line will run six times daily with an earlier start, and the midday express will depart at 11:40 am. Aiken city routes split into two corridors serving the Mall and New Ellenton with nine runs each. Fare remains 75 cents adults, 35 cents elderly, free for under 6. Suspects Turn Themselves In After Gurley’s Supermarket Robbery
Timothy Morton twenty and Antonio Flowers nineteen surrendered at the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. Both faced armed robbery four counts of pointing and presenting a firearm and possession of a weapon during a crime in connection with the Gurley’s Supermarket heist on September 25. A gun was pointed at a cashier during the robbery in Warrenville.
