GOP slams Hodges over child fund raid ad slams Hodges
The South Carolina Republican Party released a TV ad accusing Gov. Jim Hodges of diverting 300000 from the Continuum of Care for Emotionally Disturbed Children to cover governor office expenses. The spot alleges funds harmed services for severely emotionally disturbed children, while Hodges and his campaign say no services were cut and coverage increased. The party funds the seven to ten day airing as it plans more ads before Election Day.
